San Jose Conversational Interaction Conference

Eugene Joseph, North Side founder, will speak at the San Jose Conversational Interaction Conference on February 6, 2018 on Why broader language understanding matters in vertical applications. In a nutshell, vertical chatbots trained on particular skills may miss a lot from what a user is telling them. One way to fix the problem is to complement a chatbot with North Side's massively rule-based NLU pipeline that actually ANALYZES language using millions of syntactic and semantic rules, extracts meaning from user utterances and builds a context for a chatbot.
